The Womens Pre Season Tournament was another great weekend for the sport as eighteen teams competed for the championship at the A and B level of competition in Mississauga and perhaps a sneak preview for the Provincial Championships later this summer. There was very little separating all the teams as this was the most balanced tournament in years and it was any teams tournament to win.
In Womens B division, the Bulldogs won 2-1 in an exciting first overtime over the Peterborough All Stars in the hard fought championship final. The Bulldogs were lead by tournament all stars Kim Malcher, Jacey Murphy and Kathy Mc Cormack.
In semi final action, Bulldogs battled the feisty Tripps Shakers to a 3-1 win and the All Stars won a hard fought battle versus the Pink Panthers from Vanier.

The presentation of the championship trophy, championship and all star awards, have become synonymous with OBHA supremacy. It is an accomplishment and one of the most sought after collection of trinkets in sports today.
