London Norstar Win ‘B’ Division Championship
Purple Reigns in Bradford as London Norstar win the championship. What a tournament for the Norstar as they scored 21 goals and allowed only 1 in the six games. The team has a great mix of athleticism, playmaking, speed, and ball hockey intelligence. Their defense played tough and were anchored by the goaltending and their offense was versatile finding goals from every line.
In semi-final action, Norstar beat the Oshawa Stampede 4-0 while the Barrie Debra`s outlasted the Alliston Jagerbombs 3-2 in overtime. In the tournament final, it was all Norstar as they posted a 4-0 victory over the Debra`s for the Women’s B title.
