To qualify your ancestry needs to be from China or Hong Kong, which means one of your parents or grandparents needs to be from China/Hong Kong.

In their first ever appearance in 2009 Hong Kong finished 12th out of 16 teams which is very respectable for an inaugural appearance. They are looking to build upon that standing.

Currently Team Hong Kong will be in the B pool with Pakistan, Cayman Islands, Bermuda, Hungary, Poland, Japan, and Ukraine.
