On Sunday, June 21st at the Beeton Arena, Al & Judy Lord presented a cheque to the Royal Victoria Hospital in the amount of $6200.00. 

The portion of the funds were raised at this year’s 3rd Annual Kevin Lord Memorial BBHL Fundraiser will go directly to the “Kevin Lord Memorial Fund”, in support for the new building of the Simcoe-Muskoka Cancer Care Centre at RVH. To date, the “Kevin Lord Memorial Fund” has raised in excess of $30,000 towards this project, which has just begun building this year.

The balance of the proceeds raised from the fundraiser, were donated to the Beeton Minor Ball Hockey League travel account. The funds help to assist the minor ball hockey players with their travel expenses needed to attend National and International tournaments.
