WE ALL DID IT!!! The Ontario Ball Hockey Association was one of many groups that assisted in raising awareness for the ROAD HOCKEY TO CONQUER CANCER event held Saturday, October 1 at Ontario Place in Toronto.

The Princess Margaret Foundation embraced Canada’s most cherished cultural pastime in its brand new fundraising mega-event. The road hockey event was the most impactful hockey charity experience EVER and raised 2.4 million dollars!

32 rinks, 162 teams, bringing out the best part of humanity for a cause that is so close to so many, thousands of participants supported by friends and family, with every player united by one common goal to – CONQUER CANCER IN OUR LIFETIME! (Jeremy Roenick pictured to the right celebrating a goal)

This Dawn-to-Dusk fundraising event featured an unprecedented number of spirited road hockey games, as well as musical acts, celebrity appearances, interactive activities, food and beverages, and so much more! For all those that participated being part of a team and donating your time and effort to an amazing cause, this salute goes out to you and look forward to seeing everyone in 2012.
