Gabriella & Marc Parravano To Lead Markham Minor

The Markham Hill Minor Ball Hockey League announced that Marc and Gabriella Parravano will be administrating the program for the Ontario Ball Hockey Association (OBHA) commencing with the 2017 spring program.

They are both excited to successfully execute the strategy of the OBHA to Grow the Game and the opportunities that lie ahead.

Gabriella has always had a passion for any form of hockey and ball hockey was no different and she was often seen or heard voicing her support for his teams and also pointing out his defensive deficiencies along the way.  She is very excited about this opportunity to work within a sport that has offered her family so many positives and with a young son who already has the passion and is often found playing mini sticks in the house.

For Marc the passion for the sport has come full circle as a young boy he played in the Vaughan Minor program out of Maple Arena starting at age ten.  For many years he competed at OBHA Minor Provincials and attended Junior Nationals for the Toronto Selects in 2003.  His skills, speed and quickness would soon catch the eyes of the top teams in the province and he quickly ascended through the mens levels of play and ultimately to the top division playing for the Toronto Thunder and later the Brampton Express.  He has also experienced international success being named to the Men’s Team Canada program on a couple of tours of duty which culminated in 2013 at the World Ball Hockey Federation (WBHF) Championships in Toronto with a gold medal performance.
