2021 Canada Cup 4v4 Championships – Coed Division

This past weekend, ball hockey teams gathered at the Barrie Ball Hockey Club for the OBHA Coed Canada Cup 4v4 Championship and what a tournament!

This was the inaugural Coed Championship in the OBHA’s 47 year storied history and there was very little seperating the teams.  Nonetheless, despite their records in the preliminary round games, a battle between the top two seeds seemed inevitable.

The Simcoe Home Renovations were undefeated 4-0 and London Redliners 2-1-1 heading into Sunday.  In semi final action, it was Simcoe Home Renovations beating the Cyclones 5-1 and awaited the winner of the other semi final which had the Redliners prevail over the Durham Beaver Dusters 3-1.  The Redliners would go on to win the championship with a 5-1 victory over the SH Renovations.

Congratulations to all the teams for their participation in the 2021 Coed Canada Cup 4v4 Championships and we look forward to seeing everyone at the Provincial Championships in London, August 27-29.
